October Most Anticipated New Releases

Here are four books so far that I’m most looking forward to being released this October. Knowing me there is a possibility that this list will grow or that I might buy random new releases here and there. Their a mix between young adult to new adult books.

#1 New York Times, USA Today, and internationally bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout brings her trademark drama and intrigue to a new romantic YA science fiction series with The Darkest Star. A girl pulled into in a world she doesn’t understand finds herself confronted by long buried secrets, a betrayal that could tear her life apart…and Armentrout’s most swoon worthy book boyfriend yet.

Seventeen-year-old Evie Dasher knows firsthand the devastating consequences of humanity’s war with the aliens. When she’s caught up in a raid at a notorious club known as one of the few places where humans and the surviving Luxen can mingle freely, she meets Luc, an unnaturally beautiful guy she initially assumes is a Luxen…but he is in fact something much more powerful. 2. Subzero (BearPaw Resort, #4)  by Cambria Hebert

41813390Synopsis

My best friend, Liam Mattison, was born with snow in his veins.

Me? Ice.

Maybe that’s why my eyes are this color. Maybe it’s because I was born in Caribou, where there’s more snow than sun.

I always knew I had a chill within me, but after my time with the army, that chill froze over. I saw and did things most people couldn’t fathom. I made contacts with people who were more beast than man.

I came home altered, and there was no going back.

Except I did. It had to be done, and I didn’t regret it.

But now I’m thrust back into a world where people had forgotten my name. Back into a past I walked away from.

Memories of all the things I’ve done, of the people I’ve left behind, are floating to the surface.

The late-night summons wasn’t really unexpected.

The request was.

Saying no is impossible when you’re the only man equipped for the job. Saying no is difficult when what you really want to say is yes.

So here I am, past and present colliding with a woman I intentionally left behind. A woman who needs me to keep her alive.

I made a promise, and I will keep it.

Even if I die doing it. Even if it means the ice inside me goes subzero.

3. Got it Bad: A Bad Boys Gone Good Novel by Christi Barth

Synopsis

In USA Today bestseller Christi Barth’s last Bad Boys Gone Good novel, the brother who’s always followed the rules finally gets to be a little bad.

Kellan Maguire was a semester away from becoming a lawyer when his life imploded. Now he’s in Witness Protection, hiding from the mob and mad as hell that his brothers lied to him about, oh, everything. The only bright spot in his new life is their drop-dead-gorgeous U.S. Marshal handler. Yeah, he wants to handle her… a lot.

Federal Marshal Delaney Evans has protected her fair share of dangerous criminals. But Kellan is a whole different kind of dangerous—dangerously hot, to be specific. The charming, handsome, and utterly law-abiding Maguire brother got under her skin the moment they met and the more time she spends with him, the harder it is to deny their attraction. Delaney’s willing to give Kellan one night—to get him out of her system—and then it’s over.

Except one night isn’t enough and soon they’re breaking every rule of WITSEC to be together. Kellan’s got it bad for her, but Delaney’s career, her entire life, would fall apart if anyone found out. And then the biggest complication of all hits…
